Forbidden Love

My forbidden love

You are a wife you are a mother

You are with another

You are something I'll never have

You are my forbidden love

Although we have never met

We sometimes speak on the net

We are friends first

And other things last

Some of our secrets we share

We know we can not show how much we really care

If we were ever to meet

In all reality we'd pass each other in the street

A love that we can not have

That is a forbidden love

To Be With An Angel

To be with an angel tonight

Would take me to heavens lofty height

To be up there among the stars

To be free of all my emotional scars

To be once at peace

To have all my heartaches cease

To be with an angel tonight

On a heavenly cloud of flight

You Will Always Be In Our Heart

You will always be in our heart

You have been there from the very start

You were dear to us

You were there for us

As we look towards the night sky

Your star shines so high

The brightest star from heavens above

You brought us joy you brought us love

We will always remember you

In everything we say or do

You are always watching over us from heavens lofty height

You will always steer us from wrong you will guide us to everything that’s right

With the moon shining so bright

It lights up the heavens tonight

With your spirit within my heart

I know that we will never be apart

My memories I have of you

Help me through times of blue

Although God has made us apart

Friends Old And New

I sit in front of the camp fire

And throw another log onto it

I watch the sparks fly up into the night sky

And think of friends old and new and ones that have passed on

I sit on the ground

And count the stars in the sky

And smile to myself

And remember them as loved ones and friends

Keeping a watchful eye over me

Friends old and new

Friends past and present

Friends that have passed on

They all still all mean a lot to me

Longing

We belong together but we're apart

The distance between us stretches my heart

The time we spend together

Is never to often not never

Our hearts they begin to pine

Oh to kiss your lips of sweet tasting wine

The tears that fill our eyes when we have to part

Tears another piece away from my heart

When I hear your sweet voice upon the phone

Makes me feel like a king without a throne

But when we meet again in a loving embrace

Our hearts become one in a sudden race

Close Your Eyes

To sleep that untimely sleep

To keep all that’s precious to keep

To see that wonderful sight

When the last moments of night turn to light

To always be together

To always have someone to call your lover

To walk hand in hand together

No matter what the weather

United together forever

To feel like fingers in a glove

To be with the one you truly love
