Midlothian Writers Group

Local writers and those wishing to develop their writing skills are invited to attend the meetings of the Midlothian Writers’ Group, currently based at Dalkeith Library.

Attending the meetings will help you develop your style and improve the standard of your creative writing, whether that be poetry or prose. Working through the writers’ group means that each writer benefits from the interest, constructive criticism and experience of other group members. Over the years several Midlothian writers have reaped the rewards of the support of this group and have achieved publication of their work.

Group meetings are informal, friendly get-togethers. The Midlothian Writers’ Group will meet fortnightly on Wednesdays at 7.00pm at Dalkeith Library (Entry to the library is by the back door). No charge is made for joining the group or for attending meetings.
